Which South Dakota counties have no zoning?

South Dakota has 12 counties without county-wide zoning; the highest-scoring among them are Custer County, Corson County, Fall River County, Charles Mix County, Jones County, Butte County, Oglala Lakota County, Ziebach County.4 South Dakota has 50 counties with county zoning.9 County boards may regulate land uses, building size, yards and lot coverage through zoning ordinances, so a building-permit answer alone does not settle how a parcel can be used.15
