How to interpret the files

bolt is the current 0–100 headline score. It is comparative research, not a property valuation.
s contains the six factor values: seclusion, self-sufficiency, administration, durability, autonomy, and carry cost.
coverage is overall evidence strength; e contains the same 0–100 measure by factor. Neither is part of the score.
Scores describe counties. They do not establish a parcel’s water right, legal use, access, title, soil, or buildability.
Source vintages vary by input. The methodology identifies each source and the important fallbacks or limitations.
Public-source facts retain their source terms. Bolthole Index’s compilation, score, text, and design are subject to the site terms.
